In loving memory of Albert Palmer, who sadly passed away on 16th August 2026

Albert had a life full of interests and, above all, a heart for helping others. A loving Dad and Grandad, he cherished his family. He was also a keen gardener, finding peace and pride in tending his plants, and he brought the same care and patience to his woodworking, crafting detailed models that showcased his skill and creativity. Before hip problems slowed him down, he loved to dance and spent many happy hours fishing.

But what those who knew him will remember most is his generosity. He was always the first to lend a hand, never asking for anything in return. This spirit of service defined much of his life. For 30 years, he served as Chairman of Castle Point Sports Club for the Disabled, and later became Chairman of the Buddies Friendship Club, bringing people together and building a community rooted in connection and kindness.

He will be remembered as a devoted Dad and Grandad, a man of many talents and an even bigger heart, whose generosity touched everyone who knew him.
