I first met Babs at Towns Women Guild and on Tuesdays Babs started a Knit and Natter group where Babs taught us girls how to make cards. She was a very patient teacher and I learnt so much from her, to this day I still craft. Babs and Bill would make up kits for us girls to make cards under her direction, She is a lady I was pleased to call a friend. xxx

Dear Barbara was not just a very good neighbour but a friend and fellow keep fitter. She will be very much missed. At times she has helped me with my knitting and other things. She was so good at all craft work. We have a small cupboard with all the cards and gifts over the years. We are thinking of you today. Rest in peace, Babs. Jenny and Don
