In loving memory of Christopher Bailey, who after 2 years fighting cancer sadly passed away on 23rd June 2026 peacefully at home with Mary, Emma and Katie at his bedside.
Chris was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and such a joyful presence to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. By knowing him you lived your life receiving an incredible warmth, kindness and strength from him everyday. He had the ability to make people feel at home whenever they were with him.
To honour Chris's compassionate spirit and the kindness he showed everyone, our family asks you to consider making a donation to St Catherine's Hospice (Crawley). They were a great support to Chris, Mary, Emma and Katie at a time when it was most needed. Their work with so many families is truly invaluable. We know Christopher would agree as he thanked everyone who helped him in his final weeks with us.

So sorry I can't be with you today as you say goodbye. He was an incredible man who always made me feel so welcome, he was so cheeky and his laugh always made me laugh! To my wonderful friend Katie, her sister and mum and entire family, I send all my love, support and strength.
