Dave Anderton of Bawtry, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Tuesday 7th July 2026, aged 62 years old. Dave was the much-loved dad of Eva and Mary, a cherished son to his late parents, Brian and Diane, as well as a dear brother to his late sister Jane. Dave brought laughter and warmth to so many people’s lives and will be sorely missed.

Everyone is warmly invited to a service to celebrate Dave’s life on Monday 27th July 2026 at Barnby Moor Crematorium, DN22 8QJ at 1.00pm. Please feel welcome to wear a pop of colour to the service. Refreshments will then be available at The Ship Inn Bawtry, DN10 6HT, allowing a chance to share more fond memories of Dave and to raise a glass in his honour.

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu of floral tributes may be made to St John’s Hospice and Cancer Research UK, using the donation box available at the service.

Please find to the right hand side of this page the livestream information if you are unable to attend Dave's funeral.
