If I am mistaken, my apologies and condolences. When I was 16 in 1966, I met a Mike Heath and companion Pam in Laigueglia, Italy. I was in high school in the USA. The following summer, Mike invited me to Aughton near Omskirk to visit and to accompany him with Pam from Guildford on a drive to the Italian village near Alassio. While in Aughton, I met a lot of people including George Harrison’s parents. Mike was ten years older than me but only 26. I am now 76. I met him again in 1969 when he was helping his folks run a pub in Barnstaple. When I moved from New York to Los Angeles half my belongings were stolen including address books. I visited that Coach and Horses pub in 1976 but Mike and his parents had sold. I called Pamela but her mother answered and said she was married and refused me any further information. Every now and then, I would check social media in the hope of reconnecting. I do remember an 18 year old Susan whom I met in Aughton. The coincidences seemed many which is why I write this. Michael Heath is a common name but I hope this man is the man I knew.
If not, this man certainly matches the kind soul I knew long ago. Thank you and best wishes to you all.
