In loving memory of Thomas Christopher Lane (Chris) who sadly passed away on Sunday 31st May 2026.

With deep sadness, we announce the passing of our beloved Dad, Chris Lane. He passed away peacefully at home with his daughters.

Chris was a devoted father to Donna, Siobhan and Melanie, cherished husband of the late Rosalyn, and a proud and much-loved grandad to Kieran, Niall, James and George.

He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by all those whose lives he touched.

Sadly missed along life’s way,
Quietly remembered every day,
No longer in our lives to share,
But in our hearts, you’re always there.

There are some people in life that make you smile a little longer, laugh a little louder and live a little better. That's my Dad. And my absolute best friend 💚💚☘️☘️
How will I live without you?
Ever since I was little, you always made me feel that no problem was ever too big for you to handle. You always made me feel safe. You are the best listener, the best person at giving advice. I am so lucky that you were my Dad and I always feel so unbelievably proud when I say to people, 'I'm one of Chris Lane's daughters.'
I'm going to really miss the dog walks, the laughs, all the stories you used to tell, chatting over Neil's Sunday roasts, turning up at your house to see you sitting on the front bench with Amber or doing your hanging baskets in the garage, Sunday nights at the Southampton Arms, morning coffee on our patio which you so lovingly laid, your hugs, your infectious smile, your advice, your positive attitude to everything. This list could go on and on. You were the best person I have ever met, my inspiration, my hero, my amazing Dad.
I will miss you so much, but as Ann O'Shea said, 'I'll see you again, I'm just catching a later bus.'
Rest well with mum, Dad. You did so well fighting your illness right up to the end, always with positivity, strength and a smile. I promise I'll try my best to make you proud and as you always said to me....'Remember, just keep smiling.' ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I have such happy memories of my uncle Christy whom I loved with endless bounds.
Christy had such a charismatic personality and a charming way with people and he brought energy and excitement everywhere he went.
It felt as if Christy put a magic spell on me from when I was a little boy, because I never wanted to leave his side and I was always in complete awe of him.
Christys visits to Kinsale and Ireland were the highlight of our summers and without fail, he left me in floods of tears at the airport each and every time when leaving to go back to Southampton as I didn’t want to see him go.

Christy,
I will miss our chats and laughs and the friendly advice and words of wisdom you often gave me.

You were one in a million and I really loved you more than you could ever possibly imagine. ❤️
Thanks for all the beautiful memories you have left us with. These we will cherish forever.
You played a huge part in my life and You will never be forgotten xxx
