Wendy Boer (9 Jun 1967 - 31 May 2026)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Wendy Woulinde Henriëtte Boer.
After a courageous battle with illness, Wendy passed away peacefully on 31 May 2026, surrounded by family and friends.

Wendy dedicated much of her life to caring for others as an NHS physiotherapist. She will be remembered for her compassion, intelligence, humour and remarkable strength.
A beloved sister, aunt, friend and colleague, Wendy touched many lives and leaves behind countless cherished memories.
She will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered.

Following the service, family, colleagues and friends are warmly invited to join us for refreshments and a celebration of Wendy's life at Ye Olde Bell Hotel, Barnby Moor, Retford, DN22 8QS.

Donations, if desired, may be made in memory of Wendy to the staff of Gateford Hill Care Home, whose kindness, compassion and dedicated care brought great comfort to her during the final weeks of her life.

We would be grateful if those wishing to attend could let the family know in advance.
