A much-loved friend, an inspiration to me and so many others. Paula touched countless lives with her kindness, warmth and faith. I am so grateful to have known her.

In memory of our dear friend Dr Paula, an amazing friend who brought so much warmth, love and care into the world.

We have many fond memories of Paula’s fun loving ‘can do’ spirit- from a wonderful sailing holiday in Greece to her incredible ability to teach and inspire us to play the ukuele together (requiring a lot of patience!) love Megs and Jon

Paula was an inspiration to so many, great doctor, fabulous mum and gifted saxophonist. Have many great memories of our boys growing up especially fun days camping Much love and prayers to them and the whole family xx

'No one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away.' Terry Pratchett. The ripples Paula left are the type that last: connections between people, values and innovation in education, the care and attention of a doctor who cares about their patients as people and a role model for many- to just name a few. The last time we chatted, she talked pragmatically about her funeral, consoled me at a time I should have been the one consoling her and recommended 'the last one laughing'. I think this just demonstrates the beautiful person she was. I have just finished watching season 2 LOL, in her honour and memory. I will miss her a lot. I have found discworld a source of escapism and surprising comfort after losing my mother recently. Paula's family are in my thoughts: I hope you find something beautiful -whether literature, music, art or nature - that can bring you some comfort and remain forever tied to Paula's memory in your hearts.

Paula, you were such an inspiring educator. Thank you for all the passion you brought to your work and enthused the Medical School with.

We will all carry the memory of your enthusiasm in our future work.
