Paula Hunt (26 Mar 1970 - 24 May 2026)

By your approach to life Paula, you were an inspiration to us all. You spread kindness, thoughtfulness, so much love and joy. Geoff and I respect, admire and love you so very much. So sadly missed.

Paula was just wonderful to work with, mostly because she would do most of the work! She was so enthusiastic it was infectious and dedicated does not come close to decribing how she would turn up for teaching having had chemo.

I learnt a lot from Paula and we enjoyed each others mutal love of the History of Medicine including a great trip to Guy's last summer finished by drinks at Tate Modern with my daughter - a wonderful day.

Sad to say that there will be no more days like that but the memory lives on. What I do know is that I miss Paula and our charming chats over coffee at UHS.

My deepest commiserations to her husband and children who will be feeling this loss much more than I ever could.

So sorry to hear this news. Paula was always an inspiration and bundle of energy. I’m so grateful to have known her and been influenced by her positive spirit.
