I was deeply saddened to hear of John’s passing. He was such a great mentor to me when I worked at THS News in my first job after leaving school back in 1988. John was a superb manager. Always kind, fun, and supportive. I can look back over my 30 years experience in management and leadership roles and see John’s influence in my own approach to working with people. He taught me so much about respect, support and loyalty. He really was a wonderful man. I wish I could make it to his funeral but I’m not going to be able to. However I know he will be surrounded by so much love on the day. I shall be thinking of him and sending all his friends and family my best wishes.
