In loving memory of Valerie Margaret Bray ( Val ) who sadly passed away on 24th May 2026.
Beloved Mum, Sister, Nan and Grandma.
Val was a warm, thoughtful and caring person and loved by so many.
At the heart of everything was her love for family enjoying her most recent years watching her grandchildren and great granddaughters grow. Her happiest times were seeing new life being born into the world.
During her dedicated working life as a housing officer for Southampton City Council Val touched the lives of so many with the help and love she gave to many homeless families.
She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Nan, no words will ever be enough to tell you how missed you are. I’m forever grateful that the girls had you as their grandma. They adored you just as much as you adored them. I’ll miss popping round, and hearing your whistle. I’ll forever cherish all the holidays we went on, and all the times you tickled me to sleep. Until we meet again Nan, sleep tight. 🤍

Val, the most wonderful nan and doting grandma. Your face lit up every time the girls entered the room. Even on your final days you still managed to ask for Billie and Lottie. You’re free from pain now and we hope you’re resting peacefully up there (with a huge slab of cake which we all know you loved!!) Your memory will live on in the girls and you will never be forgotten. Lots of love. Xxx

Sorry to hear ‘Aunty’ Val has passed away. We all lost contact over the years but is remembered by all of us girls- Charlie and Gaeta’s daughters. May she rest in peace. Love to you all . Julie 🌹
