Sylvia was a such a lovely, fun loving lady and we will always have such fond memories of our time spent with her, Bill and my parents. From the moment we all met, it was like we had known each other for years and I considered them family. Sylvia we will miss you lots, you will always be the person who taught me how to win diminishing whist! Sending much love to Sarah, Andy and all those that knew and loved her.

It is with great sadness that I learnt the passing away of Sylvia.We worked together for several years in Paris and she was more than competent and a delightful colleague, with always a lot of humourous rivalry between the French and the British. We loved the friendly couple that she formed with Bill and we enjoyed visiting them in Miami and near Detroit. We will always keep in our hearts the memory of these nice moments. And thank you Sarah for all the love and care you gave to your dear Mum.
