Goodbye to a very dear friend, we had some wonderful times together in the past including darts team together, cards, drinking of course and even holidays. The Rainham Mark was our second home where we met up with all our other friends and had some great times together. RIP Dawn. My Friend. XX

My first memories of my big cousin Dawn, as I used to call her, was in my infants school playground and she was in the secondary school next door. I caught her having a secret fag, next to the bins with her friends! She told me to 'clear off and don't tell my mum (Pat)' 😅 Later, she moved in with my family and that's when I realised that she was a fun girl to be around. She was our in-house babysitter and used to try and bribe us with a biscuit or packet of crisps for me and my siblings to go to bed early lol 😅 She used to take me and my siblings out in her boyfriend's car to the pub's car park where she bought us pop and crisps while we listened to the radio that we thought was a magic box at the time. As time went on, it was my turn to baby sit her two sons Nicholas and Nigel when she used to go to darts and cards' night with Mike and my mum. Everybody who knew Dawn, knows she liked to party on the dance floor, especially the song 'oops, upside your head' and the special floor dance associated with it. If you know, you know lol. I am glad for the great memories I have with my big cousin Dawn. Farewell Dawn, Rest in Peace 💔xxx

I was so very sorry to hear of the sad loss of Dawn. We were very good friends throughout our school days at Twydall juniors. I’d often spend time after school with Dawn at her home in Romany Road also on the playing Field opposite where we had great fun together. Remembering to our trip to Belgium too with friends Zena Hoad and Jane Bryant. Sadly, we lost touch when we went to different senior schools but little did we know years later, we would be reunited when my nephew Jon married Amanda her niece. Such a small world.
I’ll always have happy memories of you Dawn. Sleep tight my old friend.
Sending my love and sympathy to all the family at this very sad time.
Love Margaret Fraser (Salmon) xx🙏🏻

They say a sister’s love is one of life’s greatest gifts, and Dawn proved that every single day.
No matter what life threw our way, she was always there with open arms and a kind word. My heart aches with losing her. I know she will always be with me, guiding me, as she always has. I will always miss my beautiful, loving and amazing Sis. Nite Dawn ❤️xx

I remember a strong, determined Lady, battling for a long while but always asking after others. Unsung hero. Bless her.
