As you know, we lost our dear Ken on 19th May. Whilst we are all very sad and a big hole has been left in our family, we can spend every minute following his departure from this world smiling and laughing about all the good times and memories we have with him.
Myself, Steve and Mike will miss him dearly along with his two daughter in-laws, Hannah and Sam and Ken's cherished grandchildren Ted, Seren and Elsie.
Ken loved his speedway, listening to the Shadows and Jazz and most of all his family.
At his families request, his funeral will be a small gathering with only a few flowers and therefore we kindly ask that if you were hoping to send flowers to pay your respects for Ken, that instead you would please consider a donation to Cancer Research or the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund.
Lastly, we want to thank everyone for all of your love, thoughts, messages and calls during this difficult time and would like to invite you to leave any memories or messages for Ken below.

Hi Mary,
What a lovely tribute to Ken and such lovely memories you have to hold on to. I’m sorry that I will not be able to attend the funeral but my thoughts and prayers will be with you as they are now. That first photo of Ken always has been and will remain my favourite - that will be my memory of him on a lovely day. Love to you all always. Jan xxx

Hi Jan, thank you for your condolences and donation. It’s hard to accept he’s gone after being married for nearly 52 years to a great husband, father and grandfather. Gone from us but never forgotten. The swing picture is one of my favourites too. X

Kenny was the best of a generation of gentlemen. I will never forget his kindess, gentleness, fun character and hugs. Much love to the Drew family at this very difficult time.

I was very sad to learn that Ken had died, l want you to know l am thinking of you all at this sad time. We enjoyed a laugh on our craft day, before he left us, to go to his club. He will be missed.
