Goodbye Richard my friend. Shouldn’t have been this soon but there was never a dull moment with you.
From watching Blood Brothers in London to you being a stickler for golf rules when it suited we had some fun.
You were one of the main reasons I came to work at Huddersfield,and I’m glad I did. A more loyal, tenacious and driven colleague I can’t imagine.
You’ll last long in the memory, and always with a smile.

We didn’t know Richard that well, and knew him from our dog walks in the village and the Dev pub, but he’s certainly had a very big impact on our little family. He was on duty and helped to deliver our now 4 year old daughter and we will be eternally grateful. Our heartfelt wishes to your own Family Xx

So much fun running over the fells together putting the world to rights..... and, as Richard used to say '.... remember, everyone is a leeeeetle bit gay'.
Happy times in Lyon. So many happy memories. Richard will be hugely missed by our family. ❤️

Friends are like stars. We don't always see them as often as we want, but we know they're there. Richard was a shining star to all who knew him. His love and laughter will continue to shine bright in our memories.
The greatest of guys. The truest of friends. We laughed, then we laughed again and then we laughed all night. We shall play again on the golf course in the sky one day.
