In loving memory of Barry James Lambert who sadly passed away on 23rd April 2026.

Barry was a one of a kind man who was known and loved by so many people in so many ways.

It would mean so much to the family to share photos and stories of Barry's life on here and please feel free to leave any tributes to him on here as well.

The family are going to give Barry the hell of a send off that he truly deserves. It would be extremely helpful to gather numbers of attendance for Barry's celebration of life service ASAP as well as the afters and you can register your attendance through this as well.

The Celebration of Life of Barry James Lambert
11am on 8th June 2026 at the Garden of England Crematorium, Bobbing
Sheppey Way

Afters (1200-1700 odd) will be at

Family Flowers only but in honour of Barry's memory we are accepting donations to the Stroke Association and you can do this through here as well.

I first met Barry when I was 16 and he was 18 and we stayed friends for over 60 years which I think says it all. He was very kind and had a great sense of humour and would always help you if you needed it. My life will seem incomplete knowing that you are not around any more but you will always be in my thoughts! R.I.P. Bazza

Rest in peace Baz. Remember the nights we spent playing cards round your kitchen table after the Three Tuns chucked out. Long time ago.

I really valued the phone chats I had with Barry over the last few years, til he could no longer hold them, sadly, and was deeply moved by the devotion with which he unceasingly accompanied his wife, Chris, to her own medical treatments.
My partner, Lesley Wilson, his little sister, thanks Barry with all her heart for everything he did for her throughout his life, including even building the summer house in which she slept for several years. Throughout the eleven years I've known her, Lesley's frequently talked with great fondness of her big bro' Barry ....
