Barry James Lambert (20 Sep 1947 - 23 Apr 2026)

In loving memory of Barry who will be greatly missed. Sending my love and deepest sympathies to Chris and the family. I hope this donation to the Stroke Foundation can go towards supporting others affected by stroke, and honour Barry’s memory.

Uncle bungle dog meat !!!
We used to say this to you as you didn’t like the smell and look of dog meat and you would heave at the thought of it!! You had a dog called dingo.
You would then send us out the room until you thought we wouldn’t say it again !!
But we did !!
Out… the room … we had to go again .
Paul and Vanessa used to get the telling off when we all went home !
I hope you’re up there with Nan and Grandad and carrying on with the family traditions.

Still can’t believe that we are saying goodbye. Thank you Barry for the memories. The get togethers, your very generous hospitality. Always feeding us with delicious food, we never left hungry. Fond memories of the 1% club and you being quite impressed that we knew all the answers, when in fact we’d watched it before and remembered the answers. We laughed so much when you realised.

The laughter and stories will continue up there Barry as so many loved ones for you to catch up with.

Chris will be loved , cherished and looked after by us all, that’s a promise.

Bazza was and always will be a true legend!
There was no bull sh## with Bazza,what you saw was what you got.The most kind caring genuine gentleman that would help anyone ,he was up for anything and always had a kind word to say and a story to tell!
He loved hes family and and all that knew him from the bottom of hes heart and everyone lucky enough to know Bazza thought just the same of him.A very clever man that could do anything and was full of good advice.
A smile that lit up the room and the biggest heart of gold.
There will never be another Bazza.
He will be forever missed and remembered always xx

Barry you was one of my dads best mates , many stories I’ve heard of you both in your younger days 💙 and I met you at dad funeral , you was a pure gentleman 💙 now you and dad are back together up in Heaven and I’m sure there will be many antics from you both like old times , rip bazza mate 💙 give dad a hug from me 💙

I first met Barry when I was 16 and he was 18 and we stayed friends for over 60 years which I think says it all. He was very kind and had a great sense of humour and would always help you if you needed it. My life will seem incomplete knowing that you are not around any more but you will always be in my thoughts! R.I.P. Bazza
