Ken and Lesley treating me to a day’s outing to Mersea and finding the family’s beach hut. He was a great tour guide ….always able to recall funny little family memories that everyone else would have long since forgotten. Thank you and miss you Ken.

A lovely, kind and interesting man who had a great enthusiasm for life. I enjoyed playing tennis with him and listening to his stories. Rest in peace dear Ken. ♥️

Goodbye Cousin Ken We had a good Cub-Scout football team in the late 1940s. Just one memory in a long friendship going back to the days when we were standing on bomb shelters and aiming wooden guns at enemy aircraft in WW2.

I didn't have the privilege of playing tennis with Ken, but I always enjoyed his company when he joined the group for coffee. He was always telling the most interesting stories, a great conversationalist, and a real Gentleman.

Saddened to hear the news of Ken's death. Ken was a gentleman and gentle man. He was a true example of how to be a top bloke!
I only knew him for a few years but I instantly warmed to Ken.
I'll be thinking of you when I do the Stow Marie's walk.

So very sad to hear of Ken’s passing, however we’re both thankful that our paths crossed over 20 years ago when we moved into GWR. He always had time for a chat, especially about our joint passion, cars & motorcycles. Ken, you’ll forever be fondly remembered. Rest in Peace, Darren & Sara Cox.

Uncle Ken will be very sadly missed. I loved his enthusiasm for everything and his wicked sense of humour. I am truly sorry I can’t be there to be. Apart of his send off but I will be thinking of you, Leslie, Allan and Jayne.

Oh Ken, what a man! We’re going to really miss you, especially your sense of humour, because of your wisdom I (Nikki) rekindled my relationship with dad and enjoyed a great couple of years seeing him before he passed, I could never thank you enough for that. Rest in Peace Ken xx
