In loving memory of Mary Mayo who sadly passed away on 17th April 2026
Born in Lennoxtown, Glasgow in October 1944, Mary went on to live a very musical life. Inspired by 50’s Rock ‘N’ Roll and Bill Haley in particular, she took up guitar which led her on a journey of playing and loving music. Whether playing and singing solo, with her sister Sandra or in any of the bands she was a part of, Mary was a star in her own right. Meeting Terry in 1970, they went on to marry in 1975 via living in Swansea and Spain, both due to mum playing in bands, before having David in 1981.
A truly selfless soul and one of the warmest people you could wish to meet, Mary will be sadly missed by us all.
