PATTERSON IRENE Died 3rd May 2026 peacefully at Scrabo Isle Nursing Home surrounded by her loving family. Formerly of Riga Street Belfast. Dearly loved sister of Sadie and the late May and Alfred, much loved aunt to May, Linda, Colin, Lillian, Ann, Stephen and their families. Funeral service to be held in Stephen McCosh Funeral Church, 117-121 Shankill Road, Belfast, BT13 1FD on Tuesday 12th at 1.30pm and afterwards to Carnmoney East Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to NI Children’s Hospice c/o Stephen McCosh Funeral Directors (address above). Today, we rest in the sure and certain hope of God’s Word concerning those who are in Christ: “To be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord” 2 Corinthians 5:8. “ I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith” 2 Timothy 4:7.
