Oh Floyd, we are so deeply sad to hear of your passing. We hold such fond memories of getting to know you in and around the Horse & Groom and the pool pubs of 1980's south‑east London. Your offer to spend an entire day helping us move house to “outer Berkshire” was so typical of your generous nature, and the fact that we laughed from morning to night says everything about the joy and humour you carried with you wherever you went.

We’re so grateful we had the chance to reunite during that cheeky Covid escape to Cyprus, and then again at your 60th, where you proved that the years had done nothing to dim the brightness of your company.
