In loving memory of Judith Ann Talbot who sadly passed away on 8th April 2026.
As you know, Judith was energetic, positive and full of zest for life and would have wanted this to be a happy celebration of her life so please come dressed in colour.
Please bring photos/memories of Judith if you have any to share at the reception. We would love to see them.
We would politely request that rather than bringing flowers, please make a donation to our chosen charity.
We hope to see as many as possible at the funeral.

For more than 5 years during the 90s Judith along with Brian, treated me better than most parents look after their own children, whilst i was dating Ellie. I'd never witnessed a happy, loving family environment before and it had such a profound effect on me that when years later i bought a house around the corner from theirs, and they were still as warm and supportive of me, even though I'm not sure i deserved that. Judith had an incredible way of making you realise where you needed to do better, without resorting to lecturing. I was incredibly sad to hear the news but also grateful for those years which will stay with me eternally.

I was not fortunate to know Judith before her retirement and move to Epperstone.
But from these comments from family and colleagues it is plain to see the great impact for good that she had during her working and personal life.
Our condolences go to everyone, family and friends alike who have lost her.

“As I began my career in teaching, I was very fortunate to have worked alongside Judith.” She was more than a colleague; she was a guiding light, a mentor, and a reminder of everything teaching should be.
She taught me so much—not just about lessons, planning, or classrooms, but about the heart of teaching itself. She showed me that teaching is built on joy, on love, and on creating moments of fun that children will carry with them long after they leave our care.
Her classroom was always filled with warmth and laughter, and I will never forget the sound of her infectious laugh—it had a way of lifting everyone around her.
Her legacy lives on in every child she inspired, and in every teacher, like me, who was lucky enough to learn from her.
She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten xx

I have wonderful memories of working with Judith, as she was an amazing teacher who so loved all the children. I also have very special memories of the times we were together when our own children were young and growing-up. But most of all, I loved and valued the person she was, in school and in life. She was a very supportive friend and such fun; an infectious personality that I'll miss so much.
