I grew up with Neil in the 80's where we spent many hours together in my garage pretending to be radio deejays. Neil was known as the gentle giant and would stick up for his friends should they run into trouble at school. I miss the days out with Neil, his two siblings who he adoed Cheryl and Richard where we attended bus rallys together with Bill and Val who are Neils parents. Valery, who is sadly no longer with us always made you feel welcome and would make you laugh till you cried. My thoughts go out to Bill, Cheryl and Richard at this time and pray they feel comforted with these memories. Rest in peace Neil my dear friend and don't forget to play my special record when we next meet again

Neil was a fantastic guy who I’d known since he was a wee lad of about 11 years old. Spent a lot of time with him and the rest of the family as we trundled all around the country in M&D Atlantean double decker 558. He made me some brilliant music mix tapes so it was almost inevitable that he’d end up DJing in his adult life. It was a genuine shock to hear of his passing and I’m sad he’s no longer around. Thinking of his family and loved ones and sending lots of warm wishes and big hugs to you all. X
