Tim died peacefully in his sleep on Monday 13 April in the safe hands of the hospice into which he had moved only eleven days earlier. The day Tim moved out of Tim and Janet’s home was their 49th wedding anniversary and we all will be forever grateful for the almost half century they spent together.
The funeral will be at 1PM on Friday 22nd May at a natural burial ground in the Blackdown Hills. The site is called Hackpen and entered through a gate at:
what3words chilling.sweetened.rainwater
The postcode is EX15 3LU but covers a wider area so be careful of following satnav slavishly.
We ask that everyone who can join us at the burial site dress colourfully for Tim. He would not want a sombre occasion. Please note that only natural items can be laid on Tim’s grave such as garden flowers. No plastic or other inorganic materials are permitted.
Afterwards we will move to a local hotel (Lakeview Manor, about 5 miles away) for refreshments where we hope that we will all be able to chat and share our memories of our lovely Tim.

Dear Uncle Tim,

Even though distance and time meant we never truly got the chance to know each other well, you were always in my thoughts and memories throughout my life. You will be missed as my Uncle Tim.

Rest peacefully.

Our family seems to be plagued by the awful 'C'. It was such a shock to hear that Tim was so ill and our thoughts are with Janet at this sad time.
Our paths didn't cross very often, even though we were cousins, although I was very close to the girls, especially Ann.
I always loved the round Robin letters each year at Christmas and marvelled at all the antics they had both been up to.
Sadly, I will not be at the funeral to say goodbye to Tim as I am now in a wheelchair and unable to cope with the terrain.
I'll never forget a wonderful BBQ in the garden on the hillside.

Rest in peace Tim

Hasel Kingman (Adams) and family
