Brenda Knott (8 Aug 1946 - 4 Apr 2026)

In loving memory of Brenda Knott, beloved mother, nana, auntie and friend who sadly passed away on 4th April 2026, aged 79 after a battle with illness.

Brenda will be fondly remembered as a gentle and unassuming soul who devoted most of her life to looking after others with an unwavering generosity of time, patience and love.

She met her husband John, who passed six years before her, through a shared passion of dancing, a love that continued until the end with a devotion to Strictly Come Dancing. In later years, they developed a thirst for travelling around Europe, an interest that sadly faltered as John's health deteriorated and she became a full-time carer.

But anyone who knew Brenda knows that she loved cats above all else. And the feeling was mutual as they all seemed to gravitate towards her!

Therefore, we can think of no more fitting charity in her honour than Cats Protection, and the family request donations rather than flowers.

Rest in peace Mum, Nana, Auntie Bren, Brenda.
You will be missed by all.
