Sarah Gilliland (30 Jun 1948 - 10 Apr 2026)

GILLILAND, SARAH - Died 10th April 2026 late of Carwood Crescent. Beloved wife of the late Alan, devoted mother of Michael, Laura and Joanne, cherished granny of Sarah, Matthew, Max, Shannon, Kara, Hannah, Alan and great grandchild Margo.

Funeral service to be held at Newtownabbey Crematorium on Monday 20th April at 10am. The family welcome anyone to call at Sarah’s home address on Sunday 19th April between 2pm-8pm to pay their respects. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if desired to Friends of the cancer centre, c/o Stephen McCosh Funeral Directors, 11 Jennings Park, Newtownabbey, BT37 0NB. Will be sadly missed her loving family circle. God saw her getting weary, and a cure was not to be, he put his arms around her and whispered come to me.
