When the Good Morning messages stopped on 26th March, I realised my whole world had changed.

You said that I only wanted a Good Morning message to know that you was still alive! I always replied, "That's true but you know The Devil looks after his own", so you'll be ok".

The best advice and encouragement you gave me was in 2017 to plan my trip to Portugal in 2018 to live and work there for 6 months. That advice was was life changing as now it is my home. I will be eternally grateful for your support.

One saying, which you had many was "Never die with a wish on your lips" will live with me forever.

You were a kind man, strong morals with an excellent out look on life. You loved your cup of tea in your favourite mug, Lamb Roasts and Heart Beat on the TV.

Thank you for the years of true friendship, laughs and love.

Sleep tight ❤️ xx

My thoughts and condolences are with the hearn family. Maurice was a great friend to my mother Natalie and ill always be grateful for him always being there for her.
Maurice was always someone to go to for advice, a man who loved thailand and gave me some great advice for when I went there myself.
I enjoyed my few visits to his house for a lamb sunday roast and for me and him to have some banter about our names, ‘Jacquelina’ as he used to call me.
Some qualities Maurice possessed of being honest, true to himself and passionate in what he believed in, I will hold with me throughout my life.

A pleasure knowing you mate and Rest in peace.

Jack (jacquelina) xx
