Peter Millard (20 Apr 1950 - 1 Apr 2026)

Sending condolences to Peter’s family at this sad time. Peter brought much talent and joy to Leigh-on-Sea Cricket Club, and we will miss him dearly.

Our cousin Pete was a caring, happy, loving family man. Enjoying his golf and cricket. He will be sadly missed and leaving us with loving thoughts of him always.

We were really saddened to hear that Peter had died. He bore his health issues with great humility and dignity.
Peter would come up to Wick with his mum and dad when younger and stay with his nan and grandad. Nellie and Willie Macintosh. Peter was very proud of his Scottish roots and used to have his own Macintosh kilt. He even found a love of the local Whiskey, Old Pulteney, which I think was his go to dram of choice all his life
Julie through this difficult time I know you will have the love and support of your family.
Although we lived at opposite ends of the country Peter is always in our thoughts,

We are unable to attend the service but know you and the family are very much in our thoughts

Peter was such a lovely man, and a great neighbour, we will miss him very much. Out thoughts are with you Julie at this sad time.

I first knew Peter pofessionally, but then again through Rotary, though at different clubs but more so when Jean joined the Leigh Club and was welcomed by Peter and Julie, a lovely couple. Peter was always warm, informed, hard working and always good company. It was sad to see his fight against a cruel disease. Rest in Peace now Peter, everyone who knew you will miss you.

What a cousin you were. The best. Many good memories of when we were growing up and throughout the years. You will be sadly missed by us all.

I got to know Peter many years ago through working at Southend Council and then as a Rotarian. Sue and I found Peter a warm and kind man, and he will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace.

Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Peter .
Peter and myself go back a long time not only was he a client patient at our pharmacy he was our Surveyer
For the completion of our Islamic centre and working with him we became great friends and we always took his advice on all out projects .
We pray he is now at peace and may he rest in peace .

Myself and Kevin met Peter through Rotary. Such an interesting, kind and gentle man. We have happy memories of time spent with Peter whilst sharing great conversation over a meal and of course not forgetting our time away on our golf break. So glad we had them times with him and wished we had more. Rest in Peace Peter. X

Peter was a very pleasant and kind man, with a great love of cricket, which he shared with Ron. May they share a few runs together.

Peter was a special man- warm, friendly and a real pleasure to be with. Sadly missed

I met Peter through Rotary and found him to be a very interesting man.He was very charitable and a perfect husband for Julie.

I was so sorry to see his suffering from bad health , which he fought with great dignity.
