We have many fond memories of times spent with Pat and she played a very special part in Alice's early years.

We will all miss her dearly.

So sorry to have missed out on knowing Pat as an adult & really sorry to hear she has passed away. Pat was always kind and gentle with us... & her marmite sandwiches were of the highest caliber!

Sally let me know the news and I am very sad about it. We all loved Pat so much. She treated me like a granddaughter (before she had her own). I loved staying with her at her house. She would let me watch cartoons, she would play games, bake fairy cakes and do arts and crafts with me. Pat and Graham had two dogs and a zillion other pets in their garden and so going to their house in Taddiport was like a day out at the zoo - wonderful for a little girl. A kind, generous, warm hearted lady who had such a positive impact on my life. I still have one of the MANY gifts she gave me... a childrens cookbook signed 'Happy Christmas Kitty Love from Pat and Graham 1993'. I will always treasure it and all my memories of those times with her. R.I.P Pat. Condolences to Pat, Graham, Darrell, Mark, Sally, Ashley, Milly and everyone else who loved Pat xx

Dear Nanny
hard for me to accept that this has truly happened , I spent my whole life convincing myself that this would never happen and now that it has I feel devastated .
know that you had a massive impact on me both as a child and as an young man and the time I spent with you will be treasured for the rest of my life.

This poem is about my nanny. When I found out my nanny died I was heart broken. So I just want to say goodbye. We all know that someday we'll go to heaven. I'm so sad that she has gone.
It happened so fast.
It happened so fast.
I'm going to make her so proud even though she's gone.
I miss her very much.

I love you nanny, I just wish you were here. I wanted you to see me grow up. I hope you are looking down on me.

Love Milly
