We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of our mum, Lynne Bottomley (née George), on 13th March 2026. At just 71, she was taken from us far too soon.

A proud Beestonian through and through, Mum was born in Beeston and attended Bramcote Hills Grammar. After years of worldwide adventures, she returned home to central Beeston in 2017- even featuring in 'The Beestonian' magazine. She was a valued friend to so many and was never happier than when spending time with family and friends on a warm, sunny day.

Service Details
To celebrate Mum’s life, please join us on Monday, 13th April at 2:30 pm:

Address: Bramcote Crematorium, Coventry Lane, Bramcote, Stapleford, NG9 3GJ.

The Wake
Following the service, we will hold a wake at the Beeston Victory Club, a place where our family has enjoyed many celebrations over the years.

Address: 75 Station Rd, Beeston, Nottingham, NG9 2AW.

Note: The venue does not have its own parking. Nearby options can be found at parkopedia.co.uk.

Attire & Donations
In keeping with Mum’s traditional style, we suggest guests wear darker clothing, perhaps with a "pop" of her favourite colours, red or purple.

Instead of flowers, we kindly ask for donations to her chosen charity: Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

Please let us know if you plan to attend so we can manage numbers for the day.

With thanks,
Sam and DeeDee
