Michael Edward Hopper (17 Nov 1948 - 22 Feb 2026)

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Edward Hopper, who died peacefully on 22nd February 2026, aged 77 years.

Such a massive loss to lose Mike. A generous, funny and handsome gentleman. He was the life of any party, unforgettable in every way. Life will be a sadder place without him but he will never be forgotten.

His love for boats and classic bikes were his hobby, then cruising became his passion with his partner, Elaine where they spent many happy occasions, travelling around the Caribbean, making many amazing memories.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family & friends.

Donations in Mike’s memory may be made on the day of the funeral, either by cash or cheque. These contributions will go towards lasting tributes in his honour. A memorial bench in The Park, Nottingham & by Launching a memory by adding Mikes name to a RNLI Lifeboat. This will be as an alternative to traditional floral arrangements.

Any additional donations received will help fund special memorial displays, including hanging baskets placed around the home, each featuring a photograph in Mike’s memory—creating a lasting tribute throughout the summer months.
