In loving memory of Barbara Evelyn Morgan who sadly passed away on 22nd February 2026

Barbie was born on 8 March 1939 and was adopted by her grandparents in Risca in South Wales after her father was killed at sea during a World War Two bombing raid. She spent a wonderful childhood running around the Welsh valleys with her friends.

She met Ralph, the love of her life, when she was 14 and they married in 1960. They had many happy years together, living in places as diverse as Yemen and Caerleon, Malta and Cardiff, Exeter and Clevedon via Saudi Arabia and France, before settling down in Bridgwater and, finally, Rochester.

They were fortunate to have many friends along the way, and made lifelong friends in Geraldine and Adrian, Peter and Audrey and Gren and Annette. Barbie loved her antiques and was never happier than when she was finding treasures to sell at her antiques fairs.

Loving mother to Nicola and Mathew, and doting Nanny and Grandma to Ethan, Nathan and Cara.

A truly lovely lady who brightened up the lives of everyone she touched. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Also In memoriam of Ralph Morgan, who passed away before her on 6 January 2023 and who she missed every day.

If you would like to send any floral tribute, please send to T. Allen Funeral Service, 126B Maidstone Rd, Rochester ME1 3DT by 1pm.

Barbara, thank you for helping create so many wonderful memories during my childhood. I am so grateful for the joy and care you shared with us. I hope you can now rest peacefully, enjoying a bowl of moules marinieres (plenty of garlic) with Ralph and Ade. Xx
