Mum, there is still not a second of every day that goes past without me wishing I could pick up the phone and call you, help you with a minor issue, or to turn up to the home I grew up in with your abundance of love and acceptance, to have you smile at me and say “hello Matthew”. This pain will never go away and I know it hurts so much because we loved you more than was quantifiable. I wish I had thanked you more in life, even though I did so much, I just hope that you knew that you were my world and I am so unbelievably proud to be your son. I love you so so much! Our #7 always your #1 Son xxxxxxx ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I remember Lynda from Woolston school . She was younger than me . I always think of her playing football . Also then seeing her on TV . She must of always felt proud to be a first in Woman’s football team . A very sad loss , my thoughts are with all her friends and family . RIP

Still missing you Lynda, and will do forever. Sleep tight, and enjoy Saints and Lionesses' games from high up on your cloud. No traffic, no parking charges - perfect.
Love you 'oliday Chick. Sue & Jane

Thank you for letting my 13 year old self play football in a time when there were very few opportunities for young girls to play. Your legacy (and your laughter) will live on x
