Thank you for the deep love and care you showed me throughout my life. Some of my most special memories are with you — holidays on the beach, playing jewellery shops in your living room, and watching you arrange flowers so beautifully. Those simple moments meant so much and will always stay with me.
When my brother was unwell, you cared for me with such gentleness and steadiness, and I will always be grateful for the way you made me feel safe and loved during that time.
Through your faith and your work with the church, you quietly showed me what it means to truly care for others. The compassion, patience, and generosity you lived out have shaped so much of who I am. In many ways, your example prepared my heart to now walk alongside my husband in his calling as a pastor, loving and supporting others in the way you did so naturally.
What a gift it has been to have you as my Nan for 101 wonderful years. Your love, your faith, and the beautiful memories you gave us will stay with me always.
