It really meant a lot to us to care for Richard. Over the years, we got to know him well — through the good days and the more difficult ones. When you spend so much time together, you build a real bond, and now it’s hard not to feel the space he has left behind. In the last few years, he was a true warrior, but his strength was challenged by his health. His witty sense of humour will always be remembered and brought many smiles. He’ll be fondly missed. For all the laughter over the years.
For the many times you would pick me up from Mums (apart from the times when you thought it hilarious to put your foot down and speed up Knowles Hill Cresent at 90 mph whilst I’d be clinging on for dear life and nearly **** myself!)
