Peacefully at home, with loved ones by her side, on March 7th aged 83 years, Sylvia. The beloved wife of the late David, adored mam of Lorraine, the late Kevin and a dear mother-in-law. A treasured grandma, great-grandma and great-great-grandma. A much-loved sister, sister-in-law and a good friend to many. Forever in our hearts.
Family and friends please meet on Friday March 27th for a service in Sunderland Crematorium at 10:00am. Family flowers only, donations in lieu gratefully received for the work NSPCC. Please join the family in Hetton Lyons Cricket Club to continue celebrating Sylvia’s life.

Fly high sweet Sylvia, I was honoured and privileged to get to know you much better over the years, the world has lost an angel, and Heaven has gained. I have never met a more kind, caring and genuine person. Always saving pennies and giving little gifts to my daughter, who loved the surprises and in return made things and bought Sylvia little gifts too. You made a little girl who was going through such a hard time, so very happy. I really hope you knew how much I appreciated that. Sylvia is loved so very much and I know will be terribly missed by all the family. Thinking of Lorraine and all of the family, sending love, light and strength their way. Back in the arms of David, and Kevin, until we all meet again.
