Sheila Eastland (19 Apr 1956 - 2 Mar 2026)

In loving memory of Sheila Eastland who sadly passed away on 2nd March 2026

Sheila was born on 19 April 1956 in Grimsby. She spent much of her childhood on Hook Road in Surbiton before moving to Warden Bay on the Isle of Sheppey with her late ex husband Peter and their two daughters, Jill and Dawn.

Following her marriage to Peter ending in 1994, Sheila later found love with Ernie. After the heartbreaking loss of her daughter Dawn in 1996, she welcomed her son Tony into the world 1997.

Sheila could at times be strong-willed and determined, but those closest to her knew the depth of her care and devotion. Her love for family and friends was unwavering, and the people in her life were her greatest treasure.

Sheila was a loving mother to Jill, Dawn, and Tony, and a cherished mother-in-law to Jay and Charlotte. She was a proud and devoted grandmother to Lacey and Millie. She is also fondly remembered by her father Ron, her brother Mick and sister-in-law Carol, and her sister Kris and brother Keith.

Sheila’s nieces—Leigh, Sammy, and Terri—and their children Lois, Ivy, Indie, and Rory, as well as her nephews Wayne, Scott and Scotts partner Brigitte and their children Tayla and Aidan, also hold her memory dearly.

She will be greatly missed by her friends at Suffolk Court, especially Maxine and Phil, and by her lifelong friends June T, Lynne, Trevor, and Graham.

Sheila’s presence, warmth, and love will be deeply missed and forever cherished. Her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
