Frank Bryan Marsh (5 Sep 1931 - 25 Feb 2026)

I first met Frank when I went to Sheerness Nick as a newly promoted and young uniform Sergeant in July 1975 and worked with him until he retired in 1977. He was a gentleman of the old school and was very supportive to a newcomer to the island. He was a very well respected detective and good boss. He had a great smile and, if my memory serves me correctly, he often referred to colleagues as “old chap”. On retirement I remember him a chief security officer at Sheerness Docks and he would still keep in touch with colleagues. As sad loss and my condolences to Rita and the family. Stuart.
