For my lovely, warm and kind Uncle Mel. I have such wonderful memories of times spent with the Kinseys. "Going to Aunty Sue and Uncle Mel's" was always the highlight of my school holidays! Rest in peace. Love Kate xx

My Uncle Mel. Memories of a huge honest heart and a million smiles. So many treasured happy days in the Kinsey household. Will always remember the special trip to the Lake District with Rachael you and Grandpa. Thanks for making growing up fun. Rest in Peace Mel. I'll miss you.

We would like to thank everyone who attended Dad’s celebration of life yesterday. It was a very sad, but special day and it meant so much to us having you all there. Also, thank you for your generous donations to the Alzheimer’s Society which will hopefully help those like our Mum, who are suffering with this debilitating disease.
Love and best wishes,
Rachael and Fiona

So sad. Mel was our family GP for thirty years, and a good neighbour too. We will miss him.

So very hard to put into words feelings re the loss of my dear friend and fellow GP — Dr Mel. Our lifetime of true and unconditional friendship — 64 yrs — began during our first year at Liverpool Med School; even though once qualified, our work areas were miles apart, our friendship continued. We enjoyed families get togethers when The Kinsey family came to The Lake District ( my home ) — we guys enjoyed treks on the fells, once enjoying a very low level flypast by the Red Arrows !! — We enjoyed often long chats on the phone right through those 64 yrs — helping each other and just rambling — am so glad we talked at length only a short time before his unexpected passing;
It is so hard knowing You are not now just a call away Mel — Miss You so very much.

As my father-in-law and friend, I had the privilege meeting you over 40 years ago and can remember the day I first met you like it was only yesterday. I have so many happy memories of our times together and you will be missed so much.❤️

It is so surreal - you have always been a constant in our lives. I’ll never forget running around the sunlounge dancing to The Beautiful South, and watching out for the foxes before bed having left food out. Those were the good days. You’re at peace now and I understand that, but I’ll miss you and I don’t want you to go ❤️
