SMITH ALEXANDER (ALEX) Died 28th February 2026. Late of 26 Empire Drive. Beloved husband of Dorcas, much loved father of Lewis, Jacqueline, David, Natasha, Pamela and the late Amanda and a devoted grandfather. Funeral service to be held from his home (address above) on Tuesday 10th March at 1.30pm and afterwards to Roselawn Crematorium for 3.20pm. Family flowers only please. Donations in lieu if desired to NI Chest Heart & Stroke c/o Stephen McCosh Funeral Directors, 117-121 Shankill Road, Belfast, BT13 1FD. Will be sadly missed by his loving family circle.

To have you as my husband was cause enough for pride, no-one could be your equal however much they tried. I lost a husband in a million, I loved him to the end, I lost two precious things that day, my husband and my best friend.

The leaves and flowers may wither, the golden sun may set, the hearts that loved you dearly, are the hearts that won’t forget
