On 16th February 2026, in hospital, aged 72 years, Jean, beloved mum of Angie, Barry and Tracy, adored grandma of Sophie, Luke, and Holly, and great grandma of Lilly, Amelia, Logan, Layton, Inara and Roman. Funeral service will take place at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium chapel at 11.15am followed by committal at Batley Cemetery on Tuesday 17th March 2026. Relatives and friends please accept this intimation. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu may be made online or placed in the collection box provided for the benefit of MIND and The Stroke Society.

I still have no words to explain how I feel & I honestly can’t believe I’m never going to see your bright smile again! you made the darkest days so much brighter & I miss ordering you all the different nail varnishes my Amazon account is full of old orders. Aw jean, I still can't believe I'm never going to see you again, we had planned so much for this summer. You could light up the dullest days and we always came home with our cheeks aching from all the laughter, you've got such a special place in my heart my love, and I'm forever going to miss you, sweet dreams Jean, Love you ❤️

Mum life as never been fair to any of us but especially to you stolen from us before any of us wanted or were ready for. life go's on but never the same now without joy laughing and ever day meaning my heart is so broken. So please go with this knowledge no mum was better sweeter or more loved than you. I will miss you more every second an minute of everyday forever. I know sooner or later I will see you and that beautiful smile again so sweet dreams happy thoughts love you to moon and stars an back.

Oh mum nothing i do makes sense since the moment you left us. We wasn't ready to say goodbye. I wish we could turn back time, i miss you so much,i miss you calling out my name. All the silly things we use do i will never get over losing you nor will i ever forget the kind, loving mother, nan and great nana you was this isn't goodbye we will see you later my sweet RIP mum.

Mum,heartbroken and missing you so much. I wish I could have just one more goodbye kiss and your big hugs followed by the words "I'll see you tomorrow ". I'd give anything to hear your voice again, hear you laughing at us. You are the best mum I could ever have wished for and I love you so so very much and wish you were still here with us.
