Janet Swindlehurst (16 Sep 1957 - 19 Jan 2026)

As many of you will now know, sadly our beloved Janet Swindlehurst passed away on the 19th January 2026. Not only a wonderful Wife/Daughter/Sister/Mum and Nan, she was also a great friend and work colleague to many people who we are sure will have cherished memories of times spent with her. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.

For anyone that wishes to pay their respects, we will be celebrating Jan’s life at 12.45pm on Friday 27th February at:

Jan was always such a colourful presence in so many people’s lives and as such there will be flashes of red and blue (due to Jan’s affinity for Crystal Palace FC) throughout the day and we would encourage any attendees to dress accordingly.

As a family we are requesting that flowers be kept to family only but we would encourage anyone who wishes to make a donation to do so to the Princess Alice Hospice in Esher who took such wonderful care of Jan in her final days and require as much funding help as possible so that they continue to allow people such as Jan to pass with the dignity they richly deserve.

Please do feel free to forward this to anyone you feel would like to pay their respects. The chapel has screens available should there not be seating available in the chapel itself.
