Lynette Driscoll, aged 61, sadly passed away on 7th February. She was a resilient woman who fought for everything in her life, right up until the very end, and her strength will be remembered by all who knew her. Lynette passed away peacefully, surrounded by friends, and will be deeply missed by everyone whose life she touched.

A funeral service will be held on 17th March at 3:00pm at Southend Crematorium, followed by a wake at The Saxon King pub.

Flowers will be accepted from immediate family only. Following this, an online donations page will be set up for a charity of Lynette’s choosing, where those who wish to honour her memory will be able to contribute.

Lyn has requested that no one should wear black when attending the funeral, we are celebrating her life her family and friends please ask that you respect her wishes as best you can.

It was such a pleasure to know Lyn - all those many years as a trusted colleague, through some tough times and some happy ones as well. Throughout her integrity, humanity and strength of character shone through. I'm sure fond memories of Lyn will remain with us all.

Lyn had vast knowledge of customs special procedures which she was always keen to share with colleages. Will be sorely missed by all that knew her.
