For Sue You became such a special part of our family. Some people belong together not because they are related by blood, but because they simply fit — and that was you. I have known you since I was three years old. Through every stage of my life, you were someone I could turn to — steady, kind, and always ready to listen. You celebrated my milestones, stood beside me in difficult times, and never made me feel alone. In so many ways, you became my adopted mum, especially when Mum was ill and after she passed. I will never forget the love and strength you showed me. But you were also my friend. Thank you for our laughter, our chats, our drinks, and for always being there. That friendship meant more than I can say. You were family — not by blood, but by heart. You fought bravely and with dignity. I take comfort in knowing you are no longer in pain. It makes me smile to imagine you reunited with loved ones gone before you — with Mum, with my Nan and Grandad, and with your own parents — all together again in peace and light. You will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for your love. Thank you for your friendship. Forever in our hearts. Reunited with loved ones. Family by heart, not by blood.
