A memory from Daphne’s favourite cafe “ Glasswells “ Bury St Edmunds . We met before I left Suffolk to travel back home to Leeds in June last year and Daphne was well . We had a lovely meal and time together .

So thankful for the 35 years of having Daphne in our lives as our dear step - Mum . Her kindness , care and wisdom ( and great shortbread , an absolute hit with her step grandchildren ) are things that will remain in our hearts forever . Always pointed us to Jesus and encouraged us to lean on Him . Although missed , we know that Daphne is with her Lord which is far better . We don’t mourn as those with no hope . Hallelujah , our God reigns .

Dear Daphne, I was so sorry to hear of your passing. I remember many lovely visits to your house when I would stay with you and Catherine in Bury St Edmunds. You are a very special lady and I always felt loved by you. Mum and dad (Dawn and Vic Gregory) are also saddened. They are unable to attend your funeral on Monday but I will be there to pay our respects to you and your family. Until we meet again Daphne.
All our love Vic, Dawn, Anne, and Lee
