In loving memory of Marlis Jackson who sadly passed away on 4th February 2026. Marlis was happily married to Derek for 59 years after a holiday romance in Jersey where they fell madly in love. They went on to have three loving children, Andrew, Carol & Anita. Marlis was a proud mum but also proud nan to five grandchildren and five great grandchildren, who brought much happiness and joy.
Anyone who knew Marlis, knew what an amazing cook and host she was. She loved nothing more than having family and friends around.
Marlis will be sadly missed by everyone who knew her, especially her children Andrew, Carol & Anita and her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Whenever I visited Derek, Marlis made me feel so welcome. She was kind gentle and generous. If only the whole world was made up with people like that. Her son and daughters definitely show the same traits. RIP Marlis, it is a understatement to say you will be missed.
