My best friend - of nearly 30 years.

Will miss his quiet dignity; advice, humour, encouragement. Our monthly meet-ups…over a few ☕️☕️☕️☕️.

First ‘met’ unknowingly, at a Doctor Who convention in Manchester - back in 1996. He was dressed, as the 7th Doctor (I was in a Cyberman costume).

‘Played’ the Cyberman, in his Doctor Who-related College video project, back in 1999 (and the fun we had filming it all).

The chats, about all things Doctor Who etc.

He was a fantastic godfather to my daughter - always there, with advice etc.

Splendid chap.

I knew Craig through his considerable presence on the Laurel and Hardy world and always found him to be great fun and a very generous, happy and enthusiastic chap. My heart goes out to all of his loved ones and I hope he has already met up with Stan and Ollie, as they too would surely love his splendid company.
My only regret is I didn’t know him for long enough.
Rest peacefully Craig and thank you. 😢
