Of Dewsbury, in hospital after a short illness aged 81 years, Christine, much loved wife of Kevin, mother of Andrew and late Stephen, sister of Irene, Lynne late Keith and late Roy. Also grandma to Lindsey, Sam, Natalie, Rachel, Kieran, and great grandma to Caoimhe and Joules.”

Funeral service will be held at Dewsbury Moor Crematorium on Wednesday 18th February 2026 at 12.30pm. Friends and family please gather at the crematorium. Family flowers only, donations in Christine’s memory may be placed in the collection box provided at the service or made online for the benefit of Dementia UK.

I would like to thank everyone for their kind donations and messages, and to those able to attend the service at Dewsbury Crematorium this afternoon. Christine would have been overwhelmed by the love and support each and every one of you have shown to me at this very sad time. As you will see, over £600 has been collected in donations and gift aid. This money will go to Dementia UK to continue their support and assistance to dementia sufferers and their families throughout the UK. The charity was chosen in recognition of a close family member who has recently been diagnosed with vascular dementia.
