In loving memory of Gareth Hall who sadly passed away on 6th January 2026.

If you were lucky enough to have Gareth in your life you will know what an incredible man he was. A true legend! A kind, compassionate, loving, caring, devoted, intelligent, hilarious human being.

There is so much to say about Gareth. Please feel free to add your own thoughts and personal memories. His tragic passing has affected so many people. I am heartbroken and I now have to navigate through life without my soul mate. It’s important to me and his family that we talk about Gareth and remember the fantastic times we all shared with him.

Please feel free to add to this page, light a candle
or simply pop by and read other people’s thoughts and memories.

Lastly, on behalf of Gareth’s family I want to say a huge thank you to each and every one of you who attended Gareth’s farewell. We are so touched that so many people made the journey to say goodbye. Your support, love and kindness on the day meant so much to us all. It is so wonderful to know that Gareth had so many amazing friends in his life.

So sorry that I couldn't be there to see you off old pal. Sadly I was 6000 miles away.
You would have laughed at that excuse!
And that sums Gary up for me more than anything. Always able to see humour in life and laugh at how ridiculous it often is.
Rock in peace my friend, what a star you were.
Cheers mate and Up The Spurs! Xxx

R.I.P. Gary, since hearing the awefully sad news you have been in my thoughts, from the first time we met in the late eighties working together at Waitrose Caversham, to training together at Rivermead gym, and then during the nineties all the bands/gigs that we went to see together. Even when I moved to Devon in 2000 we still kept in constant touch, I visited you, you came to visit me. I am so saddened by your passing, you have been and always will be my best friend. Rest in peace mate.
