In loving memory of Richard Lewis Saunders, who sadly passed away on 24th January 2026 following a diagnosis of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

Richard was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a much-loved Gramps. His family meant everything to him, and he will be remembered for his warmth, kindness, and the love he gave so freely to those around him.

A funeral service to celebrate Richard’s life will be held at midday on Thursday 26th February 2026 at Barham Crematorium, (CT4 6QU). The service will be live streamed for those unable to attend in person.

Following the service, all are warmly invited to a ‘Gramps Remembering Party’ at Dover Rugby Club, (CT17 0JB), to come together, share memories, and celebrate Richard’s life.

In lieu of flowers we kindly ask for donations to be made to Lymphoma Action, a UK charity dedicated to supporting people affected by lymphoma through expert information, emotional support, and vital services for patients and families.

_____________ LIVESTREAM DETAILS ______________

Streaming details for the service of Richard Lewis Saunders at 12:00 (GMT) on Thursday 26th February, at Barham - Chapel, run by W J Farrier & Son Ltd are as below.
