When I asked my grandad if he could draw my favourite character for my birthday, he didn’t hesitate and delivered an incredible painting for me. I bragged about this picture to all my friends at school when I got it - thanks for being an awesome grandad.

My lovely Dad.
He taught me how to be a bodger and turn my hand to pretty much any DIY, the secret to solving cryptic crosswords and the value of a wheelbarrow in a garden (cricket stumps, pony cart, cement mixer, ramp). Nothing was rarely too much trouble for him, always happy ro help qhere he could "have car, will travel" as he always use to say.
A great dad and grandad, deeply missed.
