In loving memory of Janet Smith (nee Curry) who sadly passed peacefully away with her family around her on 19th January. She will be with her beloved husband Geoffrey.

She was a much loved Mum to Melanie, Nanny to granddaughter Katie and Gran Gran to Ollie and Emily. She will be sadly missed by her sisters, Norma & Lynda and by all her family and friends.

Janet’s funeral service will take place at Markeaton Crematorium on Friday 13th February in the Main Chapel at 1:30pm

Donations in lieu of flowers are welcome and will benefit The British Red Cross Society.

One of my first memories is watching the moon landing in your lounge in Oadby in 1969, and Friday suppers when you lived in Burton Joyce and Mum and Dad were in Hockerton. Love Melanie x
